Why do babies need chiropractic adjustments?

Todos los bebés merecen ser ajustados!
At Marc Bony Chiropractic Center in Mataró, we believe that every baby deserves a nervous system free of interference. Discover how a chiropractor can boost your child's health from the very first days.

Someone asked me the other day: “Jen, what exactly are you advocating?”

I thought about that question for a moment and then answered him: “I believe that all babies deserve the right to have a nervous system free from interference. I believe they deserve the right to express their full genetic potential in order to manifest their health and vitality, that they deserve to be as smart, strong and radiant as they can become!”

Don't you agree that all children deserve the right to be as healthy as possible?

I do!

Imagine a world in which all children received a postpartum checkup, regardless of how they came into the world; that they were examined to see if, as tiny newborns, during their time in the womb or during childbirth they had experienced any stress or nervous interference. Imagine the impact this would have on how they grow and develop, how it would shape their lives.

Childhood is for most of us a time filled with wonder and surprise.

The chiropractic respects the amazing and surprising aspect of life, respects the laws of nature.

Chiropractic does not cure anything. Chiropractic “frees” the nervous system and the body's innate intelligence so that the body can self-regulate and heal itself.

Chiropractic is a health activator wonderful.

Having been a chiropractic baby and grown up receiving regular check-ups and adjustments, enjoying exceptional health, I know firsthand that chiropractic and children are a dynamic duo.

Chiropractic care is safe and effective, and I believe that all babies and children deserve to live a life free of nerve interference, a life that expresses itself in a manner consistent with their maximum genetic capacity!

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a regulated health profession in many countries that focuses on the assessment, care, and function of the neuromusculoskeletal system, with particular attention to the spine and its relationship to the nervous system.

The goal of chiropractic care is to help optimize the body's function through an individualized assessment and a conservative approach based on scientific evidence.

At our clinic, each patient receives a personalized evaluation that includes a complete medical history, a physical examination, and, when indicated, additional tests such as X-rays. Based on this information, the chiropractor determines whether chiropractic care is the most appropriate option or whether, on the contrary, it is advisable to refer the patient to another healthcare professional.

We care for people of all ages, from infants to seniors, always tailoring our care to each person's needs and circumstances.

We are committed to providing professional, personalized care focused on patient safety, while upholding the highest ethical and scientific standards of the profession.

Our Commitment

* Individualized assessment of each patient.
* Care based on available scientific evidence.
* Clear and honest information about each case.
* Referral to other healthcare professionals when necessary.
* Care tailored to all stages of life.

Important Information

Chiropractic care is not a substitute for medical care when it is needed. If you experience severe symptoms, a serious injury, or a medical emergency, you should see a healthcare professional or go to the appropriate emergency room.

The results of chiropractic care can vary from person to person and depend on a variety of individual factors. During your first visit, the chiropractor will explain the assessment that was performed, the treatment options available, and answer all your questions so that you can make an informed decision.
