Milo the Dog: Knee Surgery/Cold
My name is Herminia Joan Borras, and I’ve been a regular patient at Dr. Bony’s practice for the past two years. I usually bring my pet, a one-and-a-half-year-old Chihuahua named Milo, to my appointments. A year ago, Milo and I went to the clinic. Dr. Marc noticed that Milo was limping on one of his hind legs (he’d had knee surgery), and he asked me what had happened to him. I explained that I’d taken him to the vet a few days earlier for that very reason.
The diagnosis was that I should give him some anti-inflammatory medication for eight days, return to the clinic, and schedule an appointment with the surgeon, since he recommended that the animal undergo surgery.
Dr. Marc adjusted him right then and there while I was telling him what had happened. A few days later, I went back for my appointment to get adjusted, and as always, I brought Milú with me to the office. She was barely limping, and her improvement since the first adjustment was obvious. Dr. Marc adjusted her two more times, and the dog made a full recovery. I felt more at ease with this approach than going back to the vet and subjecting my little pet to an operation that might not have helped her recover so quickly.
