The HEALING FOODS diet is not just a diet; It is a tool that will lead to a complete transformation of your health. 1.   Reduces Inflammation  

Most diseases today are caused by inflammation. Inflammation damages your cells and the walls of your arteries, leading to high blood pressure, high cholesterol, arthritis, and digestive disorders such as Crohn's disease, to name a few. Reducing inflammation helps your body heal more effectively when you're sick.

2.   Alkalized Body 

El cuerpo debe tener un pH medio de 7,36. Una lata de refresco tiene literalmente un pH de 2.5 y necesitará aproximadamente 30 vasos de agua sólo, para equilibrar la situación. – Many of today's diseases are caused by nutritional deficiencies. Most of the foods we eat today are processed and stripped of all vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and enzymes. This type of diet slows down the aging process, improves mental function, and boosts energy levels.

 

The Healing Foods Diet consists of eating equal amounts (33% of each) of pure protein sources, healthy fats, and low-glycemic carbohydrates in the form of fruits and vegetables.

1. Stop eating BAD FATS – Replace them with HEALTHY FATS.

Unhealthy fats such as hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils, trans fats, soybean oil, canola oil, and vegetable oils (sunflower, rapeseed, etc.) cause heart disease, strokes, diabetes, cancer, chronic fatigue, and neurotoxic syndrome. Bad fats cause chronic inflammation throughout the body, leading to disease. The healthy fats, are essential for hormone production, cancer prevention, brain development, weight loss, cell healing, and anti-inflammation.

2. Change the MEAT you EAT.

There are hundreds of studies linking commercial meats(criadaintensiva) with cancer and heart disease. The grain used to feed animals—which were created to eat grass—changes the ratio of fatty acids (too much omega-6, and not enough omega-3) and adulterates healthy fats, which leads to today’s diseases. The bioaccumulation of commercial pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, and hormones in meat is taking a severe toll on our health, leading to many types of cancer, neurological disorders, and chronic diseases. Grass-fed and free-range meats provide many fatty acids that are missing from the Standard American Diet (SAD), such as arachidonic acid, linoleic acid, and omega fatty acids.

3. Eliminate ALL Refined Sugars and Grains from Your Diet.

This includes white rice, white pasta, and white bread. One-third of sugar comes from soft drinks, and two-thirds from hidden sources found in: meats, pizzas, sauces, breads, soups, cookies, fruit-based beverages, canned foods, yogurt, ketchup, mayonnaise, etc. High-glycemic or refined sugars cause elevated blood glucose levels, which in turn raise insulin levels, leading to premature aging and degenerative diseases such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease (inflammation of the arteries), and cancer.

Sugar is an antinutrient which provides negligible amounts of vitamins and minerals, robs your body of precious nutrient reserves. This inevitably leads to the diseases of the new millennium, such as chronic fatigue, ADD, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

Low-glycemic-index carbohydrates, such as fruits and vegetables, are rich in fiber, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which help you age more slowly, boost your energy levels, promote weight loss, and naturally detoxify your cells.
