At the Marc Bony Chiropractic Center in Mataró, we explore the essence of the vitalist philosophy to improve your well-being through chiropractic care and natural health.
Vitalistic Philosophy
If a mechanic takes apart every part of a car's engine, can he put it back together so it works again?
If a computer technician came to your house, took your computer apart, and put it back together, would it work again?
Most of us would answer yes, though of course it depends on the technician's experience.
And what would happen to your body? Do you think the best surgeon in the Mayo Clinic (the best hospital in the world) could take apart and reassemble every organ in the body and bring the patient back to life?
The obvious answer is no.
Now, a relevant question would be: Why is it possible to take apart and reassemble the inanimate parts of a computer or a car engine and have them work again, when it is impossible to do the same with the human body?
It's both simple and complicated. What sets the human body apart from a computer or a car engine is that mysterious “something” that creates life and makes it function.
Some call this mysterious “something” Universal Intelligence; others call it God, Buddha, or Nature… In fact, no one can remain unmoved by this magnificent power that makes the heart beat, hair grow, and food be digested.
This very same power allows you to read this article and interpret the information you're seeing on your computer.
Scientists at Boston’s Forsyth Institute and Harvard University have taken a major step toward explaining that mysterious “something”: When an embryo consists of four cells, they have discovered an electrical current that activates the genes—it’s like a switch set to “on” that brings you to life.
Studies of embryonic development show that the brain is the first organ to develop. The Brain It then sends creative information through the spinal cord and nerves to create every cell and organ in your body.
From this moment on and for the rest of your life, this flow of brain power continues to control all of your body’s functions and the healing process. As a result, if there is any interference with or damage to the spinal cord, this power will be interrupted, and your organs will begin to malfunction.
