To describe the case history, treatment, and positive outcome of chiropractic care in a child with constipation.
Clinical characteristics:
A boy from 3 weeks old whose mother has been bringing him to the clinic with complaints of constipation ever since he was born. Treatment and results.
The patient received chiropractic adjustments to treat subluxations in the spine at the atlas, thoracic, and sacral levels. (Infant Constipation Mataró)
The mother reported a immediate and dramatic improvement of the patient's bowel function after the first chiropractic adjustment.
Subsequently, normal bowel function was reported after each meal.
Conclusion:
