Thanks to that science, Chiropractic, in 1918 during the great Spanish flu epidemic. The numbers spoke for themselves. In Davenport Iowa, 6116 patients died out of 93590 treated (a loss of 1 in 15) under the care of modern medicine.
When at Palmer College of Chiropractic they treated 1635 cases with only 1 death. And outside of Davenport Doctors of Chiropractic treated 4735 cases and 6 died (1 death per 866 patients). In Oklahoma, another birthplace of chiropractic, out of 3940 cases of influenza under chiropractic care, only 7 patients died.
