El sacro

At the Marc Bony Chiropractic Center in Mataró, we understand the importance of the sacrum in chiropractic care. This triangular bone, which is essential for pelvic stability, plays a crucial role in natural health and overall well-being.

The lower part of the spine

Interestingly, the sacrum is formed differently in women than in men so that the  childbirth if possible.

The two bones located at the base of the spinal column have two things in common: The sacral, a fairly long, triangular-shaped bone located at the base of the spine, is nestled between the hips. It connects the base of the region lumbar from the bottom of the column with the coccyx.

The function of this bone is to stabilize the pelvic region. As with the other vertebrae, many bones extend from each side of the sacrum nerves, including the sciatic nerve.

An interesting fact about the sacrum is that its shape differs between men and women. In women, it is shorter and wider than in men and is located in a different position to increase the size of the pelvic cavity to facilitate childbirth.

Men's sacrum is more uniformly curved and larger than women's sacrum. Marc Bony, Chiropractica1.com If you have any questions, please contact Facebook to make them
