Learn to Be Yourself
The “reality” in which we live is the result of our perceptions.
You can't change reality, but if you look at it differently, “your reality” changes.
We are all born unique, at a specific moment, in a specific place, and we carry a genetic purpose that we don’t truly understand. The instructions are encoded in our genetic code within the nucleus of every cell, and they remain there.
Our body is the vehicle that allows us to take this journey. To stay alive, we need to adapt to our environment. As we grow, our mind develops in response to the need to adapt.
That is where the BODILY SELF gradually gives way to the MENTAL SELF, from which we begin to assimilate and learn ways to survive in relation to the forces around us.
That is the greatness of the mind—its ability to adapt to its environment and to survive on what comes from the outside. But…
WHO ARE WE? A good answer might be: “I am myself and my circumstances.” But it seems that “circumstances” sometimes put so much pressure on our very nature that our vehicle (body) becomes dysfunctional.
A SOLUTION? “Stop imitating. Be yourself.” This is where a process of self-discovery begins. There are many paths that allow you to connect with your body, and in most of them, the mind is identified as the culprit behind your problems and your unhealthy lifestyle.
The simplest truth that is gradually being revealed to us is, “Don’t overthink things—just relax and enjoy what life has to offer.” Life is right there, waiting for us, and we don’t need to change the world—we just need to free ourselves from the tyranny of the mind. Marc Bony, DC subluxacion.com
