The Dr. Godfrey Gutman, a medical researcher, will discover that more than one 80% for Kids The infants, who were examined immediately after birth, had spinal injuries that resulted in a wide range of future health problems.
Their findings are similar to those of the Dr. Towbin, from the Department of Pathology at Harvard University, who discovered that: “During childbirth, even under optimal conditions, it is a traumatic experience. ”Damage related to the spinal cord and the brain often occurs during childbirth, but it frequently goes undiagnosed.” This is further reinforced in the article by the Dr. Joanov: “Traces: The Lasting Effects of the Childbirth Experience,” in which she explains: “Throughout the entire childbirth process—from conception through delivery and the postpartum period—a poor foundation can be established, resulting in physical and/or mental health problems.
It is now known that the trauma associated with the birth experience leaves a lasting imprint on the developing nervous system of the fetus and newborn. For this reason, we recommend that children’s spines be examined to detect possible subluxations.
Below is a list of research projects that may be of interest to you:
1) HYPERACTIVAT
“After examining and diagnosing various cases of hyperactivity and attention disorders in children, we have discovered that subluxations in the cervical spine can result in problems with neurotransmission.” Source: Larry Webster, DC, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association Newsletter. January 1996.
2) MOTOR AND COORDINATION SKILLS
Dr. Gutman, PhD, discovered that children with subluxations in the upper cervical spine exhibited “Atlas Block Syndrome (the first cervical vertebra).” This causes: impaired motor and coordination skills, as well as a weakened immune system, resulting in persistent ear, nose, and throat infections.
3) BREAST MILK
This study found that most children with feeding difficulties who were breastfed by their mothers overcame the problem after receiving chiropractic care. Sources: Hewitt EG, Chiropractic Care for Infants with Dysfunctional Nursing: A case series. Journal of Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics. Vol. 14, No. 1, 1999.
4) IMMUNITY IN CHILDHOOD
The results of this pilot study showed that children who received regular chiropractic care exhibited increased resistance to typical childhood illnesses. Sources: Rose-Aymon S, Asmon M, “The Relationship Between Intensity of Chiropractic Care and the Incidence of Childhood Diseases.” Journal of Chiropractic Research, Spring 1989: 70–77.
5) COLIC
316 children with moderate or severe colic received adjustments from 73 chiropractors. The outcome was positive in 94% of the children who received chiropractic care. Sources: Klougart N, Nilsson N, Jacobsen J: Infantile Colic and Chiropractic Care: A prospective study in 316 cases. JMPT 1989, 12(4): 281.
6) IMMUNITY
Dr. Ronald is a researcher studying genetic susceptibility to disease. He works in the research division at the Preventative Medicine Institute. He studied the immune systems of different individuals and found that people who received chiropractic care experienced a 200–400% improvement in their immune system response, compared to those who did not receive chiropractic care.
7) IMPROVING IMMUNITY
A recently completed study compares the overall health of children who were raised according to the chiropractic (vitalist) model with that of children who were raised according to the traditional medical (mechanistic) model. It was found that children under the chiropractic model: • Had fewer ear infections (20% compared to 69% among children under traditional medicine). • Suffered from fewer allergies. • Had fewer problems with their tonsils. • Used fewer antibiotics over the years.
8) SUBLUXATION AND GENETIC POTENTIAL
A study found that irritation (subluxation) of the T3 and T4 regions alters gene expression in nerve cells. This directly affects the cerebellum, impacting the individual’s emotional stability, problem-solving ability, and coordination. If the cerebellum is affected, the thalamus is also affected in turn, leading to a corresponding alteration in cortical function.
It also causes malfunctioning of the organs, arteries, discs, muscle cells, and the sympathetic nervous system.
All the nerves involved in this cycle showed a clear change in their gene expression.
9) SUBLUXATION AND THE IMMUNE SYSTEM
By inducing subluxations in the T3 and T4 regions, the researchers demonstrated that gene expression in the nervous system was altered. Of particular interest is the effect this had on the nervous system, which controls the organs of the immune system. For example, the bone marrow’s production of immune cells responsible for clearing the body of invaders was significantly reduced.
