Autism Rates Are Skyrocketing
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention The new autism rates in the Americas have been published. Currently, 1 in 88 children has autism. 1 in 54 of them are boys. The rates have increased by 25% since 2006 and have DOUBLED since 2002.
CDC Director Thomas Frieden said at a press conference in March, «One thing the data tells us for certain is that there are many children and many families who need help.».
Who is going to help them? Doctors? Pediatricians? How many of those children have been seen by their doctors or pediatricians? While they continue to seek help, the rates are doubling every 10 years!
Do you think that giving these children more medication will be the answer… that somewhere out there is a pill or an injection that will be the cure? It's not in their genes. The theory is that every gene is driven by the survival of the fittest, which means that harmful genes are eventually eliminated—they don't thrive.
Furthermore, it takes genes thousands of years to mutate. The possible genetic explanation is that the mother and father were in poor health when the genetic trigger was activated, causing their DNA to be altered before the baby was born—a result of their poor health.
So, what's the answer? A medication? Surgery? A genetic modification? This is crazy. Those things will never promote health in the body—it's impossible. You are the answer.
Healthy children do not develop autism. If a child is functioning and healing at 100%—the definition of health—then they will not become ill. The correct question would be: What could cause a child to function below 100%?
1. A poorly functioning nervous system. The nervous system is the body's most important system—just ask any doctor. We chiropractors are the only ones who identify and eliminate interference in the nervous system.
2. They are toxic. Through the toxins that the mother and father may have passed on to the child, not breastfeeding and instead feeding the child sugar-laden formula, 30–50 vaccines before the age of 6, and all the other exposures they are subjected to. This is a breeding ground for disease.
3. Terrible nutrition. The mother and father are overweight and get the nutrients they need to live from pizza, fast food, and soda. Then the baby arrives, and they rely on formula instead of breast milk, or on sugar-coated cereals and candy to survive. Without nutrients, there is no health.
4. No exercise. If a mother is overweight and not physically fit, she raises an unhealthy child. Today, 60% of our children are overweight.
5. Too much stress and not enough sleep. They don't promote health. These are the five essential aspects of health. Almost all diseases are caused by many or some of these aspects. This can be seen in Drake, a ten-year-old boy who comes to our clinic and who had autism.
He was taking three medications for autism and was constantly having problems at school with his grades and behavior when I first saw him. I guided Drake’s mother through the key points described above as part of our Solutions Program.
Today Drake is now off medication, who has overcome autism, received his first honor roll recognition at school four weeks ago for having a perfect day.
