I'm Toni, I'm 42 years old and I've been coming regularly to the chiropractor for almost 3 years.
I met Chiropractic by chance. I am from Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana, and one day, walking through Granollers, we saw that in a pharmacy they were doing free posture tests and giving information on how to take care of your health.
My wife, who is more open to any medicine that is made naturally, came over to see what it was all about and insisted that we should try it. The truth is that I am a rather skeptical person and I never thought I would be telling this story now. She wanted to make an appointment and almost in order not to argue, and I have to say that even with reluctance, I agreed to visit me at Dr. Marc's office.
I was really getting a bit fed up with my problems. I have a hernia that is located in such a way that it affects 3 of my lumbar vertebrae. 7 years ago, I was bent, totally nailed, unable to move, and the only thing that traditional medicine did, was to give me a lot of muscle relaxants, so many that I went all day stunned, like crawling, it gave me the feeling that I had no strength to do anything and also I felt tired, since I got up until I went to bed, I was even starting to feel my hands and arms numb and numbness in the body due to the large amount of relaxants that I had to take.
Now I am so great that I don't even remember the hernia, and although it may still be there, it doesn't condition my life. Before, I had to be very attentive to everything I did and I always did it with the fear of getting stuck again, and now I almost forgot about it. In fact, I forgot about it so much and I was working so hard that in July of last year I had a relapse and was admitted to the hospital. Dr. Marc was not visiting and the hospital had already scheduled an operation for my hernia, but my confidence in Chiropractic was so great that I flatly refused to be operated on.
As soon as Dr. Marc was back he came to the hospital to adjust me several times and in very few adjustments, my body recovered again. At the hospital they could not believe it and forced me to sign a voluntary discharge, and also against their opinion and so I did.
I still don't remember my hernia, but I am aware of how my body is working and thus helping it not to relapse.
Not only has my hernia improved, the truth is that I feel much more agile at work and in everything and I no longer feel tired at all. I really want to do things and I don't feel limited in anything. Also, now that my body is functioning better, if I ever do any major physical exertion required for work, my body also takes much less time to recover.
I recommend Chiropractic to everyone, to me it has changed my life and now not only my wife and I are coming, but our two children too and almost all our family also does it, in-laws, uncles, aunts and uncles ....
