One day, I heard from some friends that Dr. Marc was giving a conference in a center in Llavaneras and I asked Felipe, my husband, to accompany me. My husband has many health problems.
When I heard what Chiropractic did, I immediately thought of my husband, and how much it could help him and convinced him to visit the Doctor's center in Mataró to do the tests and see what we could do.
In order for my husband to decide to start, I signed up with him, so it would be much easier for him to come to the consultation. And so we did, we both started!
It was in March 2007 and what I did not think, a priori, is that it would also benefit me. I have been overweight since I was very young. I had tried all kinds of diets and regimes, but they made me feel very bad and I had never achieved my goal, which was to lose weight, and sometimes I even put on even more weight.
In the end, the doctors diagnosed me as a compulsive eater, probably due to anxiety. I had to accept what was going on and gave up trying to lose weight.
I started doing relaxation to see if it would help me and I also started chiropractic care with Felipe.
After a very short time, I felt that my anxiety level was going down and I felt very encouraged to continue taking care of myself. I have gone in a very short time from weighing 107 Kgs to 99 Kgs, and I am still going down.
The surprising thing is that I don't do any kind of diet, I eat the same as I have always eaten and I eat 5 to 6 times a day, but nevertheless I am losing weight.
With chiropractic I have learned to see life differently. I do things with more order and I have more desire to do everything. I have again the illusion to live and make the most of the time and above all, to enjoy the things I have.
