Depurative juice /Tomato del Paraíso

Detoxifying juice, an ideal drink to purify the body naturally

 

Ingredients (for 3 persons)

 

    • 1,370 kg of fresh tomatoes (without stalk)
    • 6 carrots (without leaves and stem base)
    • 4 celery stalks with leaves
    • 1 bunch of fresh parsley
    • 2 kale leaves
    • 1 handful of fresh coriander
    • 3 handfuls of fresh spinach
    • 1 mild hot bell pepper or mild jalapeño bell pepper tip

Preparation

  • Wash the ingredients: Carefully clean all fresh vegetables and herbs under cold water to remove any soil or impurities.
  • Prepare the vegetables: Cut the tomatoes, carrots and celery into medium-sized pieces to facilitate the blending or extraction process.
  • Blend the juice: Place all ingredients in a blender or juice extractor. Use the carrots to help gently push the remaining ingredients into the blades while processing the mixture.
  • Adjust the texture: If a conventional blender is used instead of a blender, use only half of each ingredient and add approximately 500 ml of water to achieve a lighter, easier-to-drink texture.
  • Serve and store: Consume the detoxifying juice immediately to make the best use of its nutrients. Leftovers can be kept refrigerated for 24 hours in an airtight container.
