A study conducted by the Hershey College of Medicine, Pennsylvania (United States), concluded that a woman’s bone mass depends more on the physical exercise practiced during adolescence than on the amount of calcium consumed.
Another conclusion of this study is that the intensity with which exercise is performed does not matter, but rather its daily practice.
