Sick Children

Dr. Godfrey Gutman, a medical researcher, discovered that more than 80% of children examined shortly after birth showed spinal damage resulting in a wide range of future health problems, Sick Children. His findings are similar to those of Dr. Towbin from the medical pathology department at Harvard University, who discovered that:

“During the birthing process, even under optimal conditions, it is a traumatic experience. Damage related to the spinal cord and brain often occurs during the birthing process, which frequently goes undiagnosed.”

This is further reaffirmed in the article by Dr. Joanov: “Imprints: The Lasting Effects of the Birth Experience,” in which he explains:

“Throughout the birthing process, from conception to birth and postpartum, a poor foundation can form that results in physical and/or mental health problems. It is now known that the trauma surrounding the birth experience is imprinted on the developing nervous system of the fetus and newborn.

Therefore, we suggest that children’s spines be checked for possible subluxations.

Below we have included a list of research that may be of interest to you:

1) HYPERACTIVITY

“After examining and diagnosing various cases of hyperactivity and concentration disorders in children, we found that subluxations in the cervical spine can result in neurotransmission problems.” Sick Children

2) MOTOR SKILLS AND COORDINATION

Dr. Gutman, PhD, discovered that children with subluxations in the upper cervical spine presented: “Atlas block syndrome (the first cervical).” This causes: malfunctioning of motor skills and coordination, a weakened immune system resulting in persistent ear, nose, and throat infections.

3) BREASTFEEDING

In this study, it was found that most children with difficulty being fed by their mothers overcame the problem after receiving chiropractic care.

4) IMMUNITY IN CHILDHOOD

The results of this pilot study showed that Sick Children receiving regular chiropractic care had an increase in resistance to typical childhood diseases.

5) COLIC

316 children with moderate to severe colic received adjustments from 73 chiropractors. The result was positive in 94% of the children who received chiropractic care.

6) IMMUNITY

Dr. Ronald is a research scientist studying genetic susceptibility to disease. He works in the research division at the Preventative Medicine Institute.

He studied the immune systems of different individuals and found that people receiving chiropractic care experienced a 200-400% improvement in their immune system response compared to those individuals who did not receive chiropractic care.

7) IMPROVEMENT OF IMMUNITY

In a recently completed study, general health was compared between children raised under the chiropractic (vitalistic) model and those following the traditional medicine (mechanistic) model.

It was found that children under the chiropractic model: • Had fewer ear infections (20% compared to 69% of children under traditional medicine). • Suffered fewer allergies. • Had fewer problems with tonsils. • Used fewer antibiotics over the years.

8) SUBLUXATION AND GENETIC POTENTIAL

In a study, it was found that irritation (subluxation) of the dorsal region 3 and 4 alters the genetic expression of nerve cells. This directly influences the cerebellum, affecting the emotional stability of the individual, their problem-solving ability, and their coordination. If the cerebellum is affected, so is the thalamus, with the corresponding alteration of cortical function. It also causes malfunction of organs, arteries, discs, muscle cells, and the sympathetic nervous system. All nerves involved in this cycle changed their genetic expression significantly.

9) SUBLUXATION AND THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

Creating subluxations in the dorsal area 3 and 4, researchers demonstrated that the genetic expression of the nervous system was altered. The effect this had on the nervous system, which controls the organs of the immune system, is of particular interest. For example, the production of immune cells by the spinal cord responsible for cleaning the body of invaders was significantly reduced.
