My name is Sandra. I am 30 years old and I live in La Roca del Vallès.

My problem was basically migraines. The truth is that I have had migraines since I can remember, and quite often, every 2 or 3 days. Moreover, with menstruation, every month, they worsened, as I had them a few days before, during, and a few days after.

I was always relying on anti-inflammatories, taking up to 6 pills a day, both for headaches and for migraines, and even then it didn’t go away. I didn’t know what else to take because nothing seemed to work.

My parents and I had explored all possible options. I have visited neurologists, I have had massages… Wherever they told us there was someone who could solve my migraine issue, that’s where we went.

We even went to “healers” but nothing relieved my migraines.

Just as we had tried so many things, a good friend, Joan, told us that he was going to a Chiropractor in Mataró and that it might work for me.

The first thing I did was go to the center and attend a health class, and it seemed so logical to me that I decided to start, just like my parents did.

I had been looking for solutions outside for so long that I didn’t think the answer could come from within me, that my body wasn’t functioning correctly and that’s why I had so much pain and headaches.

I am very happy, the migraines have disappeared, now I have some occasional headaches, but when I see that I can’t take it anymore, I take something and it goes away, which before, even with medication, there was no way to manage.

I suppose that soon I will be able to stop taking any type of medication because my body will be functioning perfectly on its own.

Now I work normally. Before, I would spend 3 days working and then a week at home because I would feel unwell again. And above all, there was not a single weekend that I felt good, I always had migraines!

In addition to all this, I have scoliosis and at least once a week I would have mild sciatica. Since I have been getting adjusted, I haven’t had any more, and that has been about 8 months now.

I am happy, my life is regaining normalcy, I feel more energetic and calmer.
