The claim that “everything causes cancer” has become a popular hyperbole that some use as a rhetorical theme to excuse their own dietary mistakes and lifestyle, especially for those who are at risk of cancer. But the truth of the matter is that many common foods have, in fact, been scientifically proven to increase the risk of developing cancer, and some of them significantly. 1.- Genetically Modified Organisms:

Needless to say, genetically modified organisms have no legitimate place in any cancer-free diet, especially now that both transgenic organisms and the chemicals used to grow them have been shown to cause rapid tumor growth.
