Tumor and Chiropractic, I was desperate. I had a headache, felt general discomfort, fatigue, pain all over my body, I had no desire to do anything, my quality of life was decreasing by the moment.

It was then in 1993 when I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor, from here my journey through all medical consultations began.

I had tried traditional medicine and they gave me many pills that didn’t help much since they only made the pain disappear for a while, not very long, and I had to medicate again.

I wasn’t very convinced that I was on the right path and I started trying other things since I thought that pills were not a solution.

I went to an osteopath, then I tried homeopathic medicine, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, kinesiology, even therapeutic massages of all kinds and yes, I noticed some relief, some improvement but I was still a bit discouraged because I thought the results would be different, since they did check-ups every 6 months, and I always had a very high level of prolactin far from normal ranges.

One day a story came into my hands in a newspaper. It was about a Chiropractic consultation. I started to inform myself about what it was, since I had never heard of it and I found out that it was a natural medicine, without medications, and I thought that since the alternative route had worked better than the pills, I wanted to try it, maybe it was the medicine I had left to try and perhaps it would be the definitive one.

I immediately called the center, they did the first visit and then I started. I always think that all the journey I made in trying to improve my health had been the preparatory path until I found Chiropractic, now this is my path and I do not intend to leave it. I will only tell you that my life has changed in such a way that now I simply enjoy the simple activities of each day, like going for a walk, reading a book, going out for a drink with friends, swimming, cooking; all the little things of daily life that had become a torment due to my physical and mental state, are now my greatest joys.

After 2 years of chiropractic care, I went to get the corresponding tests that they repeated every 6 months since ’93 and the results were surprising both for me and for the doctors since the figures in the prolactin level, for the first time in all these years had reached the normal level.

It was truly very exciting and hopeful news, I felt very happy. Also, my thyroid had regulated without medication. Every day I discover new benefits with chiropractic, I am very happy.
