The Best Sleeping Position According to Dr. Marc Bony, DC

Sleeping properly is crucial for maintaining a healthy spine. In this article, Dr. Marc Bony, DC, chiropractor in Mataró, explains how to choose the best sleeping position and avoid spinal subluxations.
Sleeping Position
If you like to sleep FACE DOWN……….. then it is the worst position to sleep. If you sleep on your side, FETAL POSITION, the pillow you should choose has to be high enough but soft at the same time to keep your head level with your skeleton. The pillow should not cause your neck to flex laterally up or down.
The pillow should keep your neck resting at a level that keeps the vertebrae aligned with the rest of the spine.
The other sleeping position is on your back with a small pillow.
We spend a lot of time in bed and the sleeping position is very important. Change your habits and you will see your health change radically.
