HOW WAS YOUR LIFE BEFORE VISITING THE CHIROPRACTOR?

Yolanda.- My story with chiropractic began because I suffered from nighttime pain for 10 years, which caused me to wake up at night every time I changed position; this affected my daily life with both physical and psychological stress.

On a personal and professional level, I was not well because I couldn’t rest properly due to the pain. My journey involved visiting many specialists. I went to orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, osteopaths, I did acupuncture… but none of them solved the problem. I was about to go into surgery on the recommendation of the neurosurgeon who detected a hernia, but I knew that wasn’t the problem because I had undergone tests for 10 years and the hernia had never shown up.

Sergio.- Yes, I remember that every morning I had to put her shoes on because she couldn’t, and when she drove us to school, she sat very straight and couldn’t bend down. Now she can put on her shoes by herself and drives very well.

HOW DID YOU DISCOVER CHIROPRACTIC?

Yolanda.- I discovered chiropractic through a friend. One day, talking to her about the problems I had – since, as it is your biggest problem and your daily life, you also discuss it with the people you know – she mentioned that she was going to a chiropractor, Dr. Marc Bony, DC. I had no idea what chiropractic was, but she told me that Dr. Marc Bony held informational meetings to understand what chiropractic was… and finally, before going into surgery, I tried it.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN VISITING THE CHIROPRACTOR?

Yolanda.- I started in May (seven months ago). First, I underwent some tests, an anamnesis so that Dr. Marc Bony, DC could know all the details about my health, and I started coming three times a week. At first, I didn’t notice anything, but after two months, I could appreciate the benefits of chiropractic. I also have that moment engraved in my mind. It was a day when I was taking the kids to school, and as we left the house, I dropped my keys and bent down to pick them up.

I was so surprised that my children asked me what was wrong, and I said, “I bent down to pick up the keys!” I couldn’t do that before.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE RESULT OF CHIROPRACTIC?

Yolanda.- It started as one of the last resorts to solve my problem, and the result was so positive that I continue coming, now along with my husband and my two children. I extended it to my whole family because it was so important and positive for me that I made them participate in this discovery. Currently, we feel very well and have a very special sense of well-being.

Albert.- I had no ailments and enjoyed good health, but it is true that after seeing Yolanda’s experience, I was completely convinced of the advantages of chiropractic. What I have to say is that the concept on which chiropractic is based is absolutely logical and natural.

Despite not having had any previous pain, I feel very well right now. That is to say, I could have had a lumbar or cervical strain at some point, but since I started going to the chiropractor, I haven’t had any; moreover, in terms of flexibility, especially with the sport I practice, paddle tennis, which requires flexibility, I feel very good.
