benefits of flu vaccines
A new study claims that the effectiveness of annual flu vaccines has been exaggerated, having little or no effect on many of the goals of the flu campaign, including reducing the number of hospital stays, time off work, and death from the flu and its complications.
Vaccination programs against influenza are said to reduce the number of flu cases, as well as related hospitalizations and deaths.
In the United States (just like in Spain), authorities recommend the flu vaccine for all children from 6 months to 5 years old, anyone over 50 years old, those with chronic health conditions, and health professionals and caregivers.
The effects of flu programs may be exaggerated due to confusion of the flu with other respiratory illnesses in published reports.
Furthermore, much of the data used to argue the effectiveness of flu vaccines is erroneous, as flu strains mutate from year to year, making it difficult at best to measure how well the vaccines actually work.
Comments from Dr. Mercola:
With temperatures dropping in the northern hemisphere, conventional medical minds pay attention to seasonal flu and promote useless, dangerous vaccine devils, filled with “trick-or-treat” additives – such as mercury and aluminum hydroxide – that your mind and body certainly do not need.
Considering the vast amount of time and money spent promoting vaccines, this new study cautiously argues that there is little evidence to support their use.
Scientists found that flu vaccines had little impact on mortality rates and hospitalizations of patients under 65 years old. And this research does not take into account all the harm caused to babies and young children, thanks to autism either.
So, why are there so many “experts” trumpeting the safety and effectiveness of these vaccines? How do they get FDA approval? Due to pure and simple corporate greed and rampant conflicts of interest. Sixty percent of the members of the FDA vaccine advisory committee had ties to the vaccine industry. Meanwhile, the pharmaceutical industry employs nearly 1,274 lobbyists, including 40 former members of Congress, and has spent $750 million in the last seven years on lobbying alone, more than any other industry, in order to influence laws and government agencies in their favor.
Conflicts of interest
Conflicts of interest related to vaccines make the Vioxx scandal that killed 55,000 people look like a picnic. This is very likely one of the worst scams ever implemented in the American public opinion.
The potential to negatively impact public opinion is profoundly beyond belief. If the average American were aware of the common components of flu vaccines, they might think twice before considering them. In addition to the mercury and aluminum mentioned earlier, they may contain:
• Ethylene glycol (antifreeze)
• Phenol • Formaldehyde
• Neomycin and streptomycin (antibiotics)
Vaccine fillers and preservatives can literally kill you. Please do not be fooled into believing that the only way to avoid death from the flu is to receive a dose of the vaccine.
The significant number of deaths associated with the flu is as scandalously exaggerated as the effectiveness of the flu vaccine itself.
People who actually die from the flu do so because they are already sick and have compromised immune systems, and that certainly does not have to include you.
The following tips are safe ways to improve the functioning of your immune system and greatly reduce your chances of contracting the flu this upcoming winter:
• Avoid sugar.
• Get plenty of sleep.
• Exercise regularly.
• Eat according to your nutritional type.
• Eat garlic regularly.
• Keep yourself stress-free.
