I was desperate. I had a headache, general malaise, tiredness, pain all over my body, I did not feel like doing anything, my quality of life was diminishing by the minute. It was then in 1993 when I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor, and from then on my pilgrimage through all the doctors' offices began.<\/p>\n

I had tried traditional medicine and they gave me a lot of pills that did not help me very much because they only made the pain go away for a while, not very long, and I had to go back on medication. I was not very convinced that I was on the right track and I started to try other things since I thought that pills were not the solution.<\/p>\n

I went to an osteopath, then I tried homeopathic medicine, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, kinesiology, even therapeutic massages of all kinds and yes, I noticed some relief, some improvement but I was still a little discouraged because maybe I thought the results would be different, since I was checked every 6 months, and I always had a very high level of prolactin and very far from normal rates.<\/p>\n

One day I came across a story in a newspaper. It was about a Chiropractic practice. I was getting information about what it was, since I had never heard of it and I found out that it was a natural medicine, without drugs, and I thought that since the alternative way had worked better than the pills, I wanted to try it, maybe it was the medicine I had left to try and maybe it would be the definitive one.<\/p>\n

I immediately called the center, they made the first visit and then I started. I always think that all the journey I made in trying to improve my health had been the preparatory path to find Chiropractic, now this is my path and I do not plan to leave it.<\/p>\n

I am just going to tell you that my life has changed in such a way that now I simply enjoy the simple activities of every day, like going for a walk, reading a book, going for a drink with friends, swimming, making lunch; all the little everyday things that had become a torment due to my physical and mental state, are now my greatest joys.<\/p>\n

After 2 years of chiropractic care, I went to have the corresponding analytical tests that were repeated every 6 months since 93 and the results were surprising both for me and for the doctors since the figures in the prolactin level, for the first time in all these years had reached the normal level. It was really very exciting and hopeful news, I was very happy. Also my thyroid had regularized without medication.<\/p>\n

Every day I discover new benefits with chiropractic, I am very happy.<\/p>\n

Chiropractic has given my body back its health potential.<\/p><\/div>\n
