At the Marc Bony Chiropractic Center in Matar\u00f3, we help you understand and treat this problem naturally.<\/p>\n<h2>What is a vertebral subluxation?<\/h2>\n<p>A vertebral subluxation is a disorder affecting the bones, muscles, and nerves of the spine that causes compression, tension, irritation, and damage to the central nervous system.<\/p>\n<p>This interferes with the function of the <strong>Central Nervous System<\/strong> and causes the body's organs and muscles to malfunction and greatly reduces your ability to heal.<\/p>\n<p>The Central Nervous System (or <strong>nervous system<\/strong>) consists of:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the Brain<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the spinal cord<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 and the nerves that emerge from your spine.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div align=\"center\"><strong>Your body's wisdom coordinates all of your body's functions and healing abilities through the central nervous system. <\/strong><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What causes these subluxations?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>These subluxations are caused by periods of <strong>stress and trauma<\/strong> in our lives.<\/p>\n<p>Any type of stress, which <strong>your body can't process<\/strong> If not properly managed at some point in your life, it can lead to vertebral subluxations. There are basically three types of stress:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>physical<\/strong>,(Falls, car accidents, childhood falls, and childbirth)<\/li>\n<li><strong>chemist<\/strong> and  (exposure to chemicals, junk food, medications)<\/li>\n<li><strong>emotional<\/strong>.(family stress, relationship stress, abuse)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>They can cause the vertebrae in your spine or the spinal cord to shift out of their proper position. \u201cWhen there are excessive changes in the spinal cord, changes in motor, sensory, and autonomic function may be observed.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This is exacerbated when the spinal cord is stretched and may be reversible.
