At the Marc Bony Chiropractic Center in Matar\u00f3, we help you understand what each shade means so you can better take care of your well-being.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">What color should urine be?<\/h2>\n<p>Dark yellow urine is often a sign that you aren't drinking enough water.<\/p>\n<p>The normal color of urine is light yellow or pale yellow.<\/p>\n<p>But what does it mean if your urine is a different color? There are many reasons why the color of your urine might change<\/p>\n<p>-diseases,<\/p>\n<p>certain foods,<\/p>\n<p>supplements,<\/p>\n<p>dehydration<\/p>\n<p>-All of these can cause changes in the color of urine.<\/p>\n<h2>Some of the reasons for a change in urine color are as follows:<\/h2>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>The<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Red-colored urine<\/strong> \u2013 It may be a sign of blood in the urine (further testing is required, as this could be due to one of many causes), the consumption of certain foods, blackberries, food coloring, medications, or a urinary tract infection.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Green-colored urine<\/strong> \u2013 It can be caused by eating asparagus or other foods, or by artificial coloring in medications or foods.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>The<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>orange-colored urine<\/strong> \u2013 It can be caused by eating rhubarb, taking senna-based laxatives, the presence of bile in the urine, or dehydration.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Cloudy urine<\/strong> \u2013 It can be caused by a bladder infection, certain kidney diseases, various types of food or beverages, normal vaginal secretions or abnormal vaginal discharge, kidney stones, or prostatitis.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Blue Urine<\/strong>, is usually caused by artificial food coloring or medications.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Purple-colored urine<\/strong> \u2013 Indicates a liquid of unknown or extraterrestrial origin. (Just kidding!).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Clear urine<\/strong> \u2013 Often the result of proper hydration and good health. If your urine is a different color, this concerns you, and you\u2019re certain it\u2019s not related to eating a particular food or taking any artificially colored medication, you should seek advice from a healthcare professional to rule out any serious condition or illness that may require further treatment.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, be sure to drink plenty of water (2 liters).
