What is chiropractic Marc Bony? and where is it used?

What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a healthcare profession recognized by the World Health Organization. According to the WHO’s own definition, it is a branch of health sciences that deals with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mechanical disorders of the neuro-musculoskeletal system and the effects of those disorders on the functioning of the nervous system and overall health.
What is Chiropractic Based On?
To correct the alteration known as vertebral subluxation, the chiropractor uses the adjustment, a term used to designate the precise and specific pressure and thrust, generally performed with the hands, aimed at correcting the improper position of a vertebra.
To perform an adjustment, the practitioner requires great skill and manual dexterity, as well as a complete scientific and specific education, which provides them with extensive knowledge of the human body, primarily the spine.
How Can Chiropractic Help Us?
There are several reasons. Which one will be yours? Spine problems: headaches, neck and back pain, herniated discs, sciatica, lumbago, scoliosis. Our interest in the spine is due to the fact that it is the center of the nervous system. Visceral or organic problems: many visit us for other issues that are not “back” related. Chiropractic helps with everything from bedwetting and asthma, dizziness, to colic and stomach issues. Natural care free of medications: many who prefer to avoid risky medications or irreversible surgery visit us. Chiropractic is a safer and more natural method toward wellness. Perfect before, during, and after pregnancy. Maintenance and prevention: if you have already visited a chiropractor before, you know how valuable it is. We would be honored to be your chiropractor. Staying healthy: we experience life through our nervous system. That’s why anyone who wants to optimize their health, be all they can be, and function at their best is interested in chiropractic.
Training of a Chiropractic Specialist (university)
The training of chiropractors is university-level, equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Spain. The Chiropractic degree lasts six to seven academic years, which amounts to about 5,500 hours of coursework. Internationally, the Council on Chiropractic Education establishes educational standards for the profession, thus preventing intrusiveness.
Origin and History
The chiropractic profession was born in 1895 in Iowa, USA. It was Dr. Daniel David Palmer who successfully performed the first treatment by adjusting a displaced vertebra in Harvey Lillard, a deaf patient. Immediately, this patient regained his hearing.
The good result of this first adjustment sparked a chain of research in the United States that led to the birth of Chiropractic. Once the results were confirmed, Chiropractic was validated as a medical profession.
Since then, Chiropractic has developed alongside allopathic medicine, becoming the third primary healthcare profession (after Medicine and Dentistry) in order of importance and number of patients.
