Vaccines Study YES or NO

The flu vaccine causes 5 times more respiratory infections from other types of viruses.

Studies on vaccinated children versus unvaccinated children

The studies on Vaccines YES or NO for both adults and children have been rejected by the U.S. government for being “unethical,” but recently researchers in Hong Kong have conducted this important study.

The test was conducted on Vaccines Yes or No, regarding the flu vaccine. This is probably the only real study in recent times where a true placebo was used, and we compared it with the vaccine.

The results are surprising as the study showed that people who received the flu vaccine suffered from other respiratory infections at a rate 5.5 times higher than the group that received the placebo.

If you get the seasonal flu vaccine, hoping it will protect you from illness, you may actually be doing the opposite; this vaccine puts you at 5 times more risk of getting sick than you would have without vaccination.

The figure of 5.5 times the risk of acquiring a respiratory illness comes from a study published in the Oxford Medical Journal: Clinical Infectious Diseases

The study is different from previous ones as it was a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial where researchers used a genuinely inactive placebo (saline solution) as a substitute for the flu vaccine.

Most other vaccine trials have used active placebos, which are substances that actually contain ingredients used in vaccines, making the studies conducted so far nonsensical. This is a fact that is often not included in the final studies. The study followed participants for an average of 272 days.

The flu vaccine used was the active Vaxigrip from Sanofi Pasteur. The trial was conducted on children aged 6-15 years. 69 children were injected with Vaxigrip and 46 children received the saline placebo.

Regarding the efficacy against the flu, the authors of the study wrote: “There was no statistically significant difference in the risk of confirmed seasonal flu infection between recipients of the TIV [trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine] or placebo.”

What this actually means is that the flu vaccines provided no benefit. The authors of the study tried to cover this evidence by adding this comment: “TIV recipients had a significantly lower risk of seasonal flu infection based on serological evidence.”

The authors here are trying to suggest that despite both vaccinated children contracting the flu and those who received the placebo also getting sick, ultimately, the vaccinated benefited due to “serological evidence.”

This “serological evidence” consists of antibodies produced as a result of the vaccine, which is actually the standard method for determining a vaccine’s efficacy. The story worsens when we see that the results show that vaccinated children are 5.5 times more likely to contract respiratory illnesses. Here is a breakdown of the results:

Vaccinated Saline Placebo
Seasonal Flu 58 88
H1N1 Pandemic Swine Flu 58 0
Total Cases 116 88
Rhinovirus (Common Cold) 230 59
Coxsackie/Echo virus 160 0
Other Respiratory Viruses 97 29
Total Other Viruses 487 88

Despite the authors of the study trying to assert otherwise, we can see in the results that there were a total of 116 cases of flu in the vaccinated group and 88 cases in the placebo group, meaning that those who were vaccinated had 5.5 times more likelihood of contracting a respiratory illness.

There are also other respiratory illnesses that the children in the study were more prone to contracting after being vaccinated against the flu. The chart shows coxsackievirus and echovirus, both of which are known to cause meningitis, paralysis, hepatitis, and heart disorders.

It is not as common, but it is also true that the same happens with the Polio Virus. It is also a cause of a generally less significant respiratory illness, but in some rare cases, it can result in much the same damage as the Coxsackie and Echo viruses.

Implications The implications of this study are quite serious. The authors suggest: “Receiving TIV could increase immunity to the flu at the expense of decreased immunity to other respiratory viruses, through some unknown biological mechanism. Alternatively, the results could be explained by temporary non-specific immunity after infection with the flu virus, through the response of protective cells (leukocytes) of the immune system or, more likely, the innate immune response of this system to the infection.

In short, the act of injecting antigens into the body is probably the worst damage it causes to the immune system’s response, which is meant to protect the cells without resorting to external antibodies.
