Children Love Chiropractic
“As the twig grows taller and stronger, so does the tree.”
As your child’s bones grow, so does your child. At the ends of each bone are “growth plates.” This is how bones grow. Growth plates tend to disappear in late adolescence or early 20s, and growth stops. The traumas associated with being born, learning to walk, riding a bike, participating in school athletics, and other activities can affect the spine. Parents who understand chiropractic and know its effectiveness take their child for a chiropractic evaluation, even if there are no obvious symptoms.
Childhood spinal issues are easy to overlook. That’s because young people have a tremendous ability to adapt. Until they can no longer do so, and that will be noticeable decades later. This makes correcting these incorrect spinal patterns, which originated so long ago, more difficult and slow to recover.
We tailor our adjustment approach based on the age, size, and unique spinal issue of each child. Newborns and infants receiving our care do not require more pressure than what you would use to test the ripeness of a tomato.
Chiropractic is the best preventive medicine; do not wait for your child to have symptoms to schedule a visit with a good chiropractor.
