Summary: This study observed the effects of cervical chiropractic adjustments on the immune system, evaluating the amount of CD4 cells in seropositive patients. To do this, the amount of CD4/mm3 in the blood was measured.
Data were taken from independent medical centers selected for results showed that the experimental group treated with Chiropractic showed a 48% increase in CD4 cells over a period of 6 months.
The control group without chiropractic treatment experienced a decrease of 7.96% in their CD4 cells during the same period.
